Jeff Staads

Our 2017 sessions will feature Jeff Staads from the Business Resource Center, with home “bases” in Montana and Wisconsin. His mantra of “Training with Attitude” is a perfect description of Jeff’s approach, which also includes a sense of humor. Jeff will be covering three separate topics during each six-hour session…collections, goal setting and improved communications.

When Dreams Become Reality
The key to success is to have goals. Success can be measured in many ways, but goals clearly define what you want, when you want it and what actions must be taken. During this interactive session, Jeff will give you the tools to create individual, team and company goals that everyone can support.

  • Apply the rules of setting goals personally and professionally
  • Overcome obstacles and create an action plan for each goal
  • Set goals as a team and delegate responsibilities
  • Adjust to changes that were not expected

You Cannot Not Communicate
Everyday, in every situation that involves another person, communication takes place. In this session, we will talk about the challenging people we come in contact with and how to deal with them. See how communicating with others more effectively can better solve problems and improve “Attitudes!” It’s interactive and pokes fun at some of the stupid things we do and say (not you, everyone else).

You will learn:

  • Skills that improve your communications
  • How to change your attitude when dealing with problems
  • The different characteristics of challenging people
  • Eight action steps to better deal with the people that challenge us

2017 Presenter – Jeff Staads

Jeff began his speaking career training West Point cadets during his active tour of duty as a paratrooper with the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division.

Today, he talks with an average of 100 audiences each year across the U.S. and internationally.

Jeff presents to a diverse group of corporate and association audiences. Whether it’s helping a company better communicate with each other or teaching Harley-Davidson dealers to sell more motorcycles, the common thread is common sense and a sense of humor. He’s a contributing author in the book “Motivational Selling” and authored a solo book on collections titled “57 ½ Excuses”!

In his talks Jeff focuses on how to communicate better with customers and each other and how your attitude affects you and others around you.
