Dakota Supply Group has awarded $1,000 scholarships to five individuals who are furthering their education in the trade industries. This year’s recipients are Alex Bangasser of Sioux Falls, SD; Ashley Belvin of Helena, MT; Austin Fiechtner of Wyndmere ND; Mark Wibe of Rollette ND; and Matthew Zirnhelt of Grand Forks, ND.
The DSG Education Connection Fund was created in 2009 to help young people who wish to become electricians, plumbers, utility workers, HVAC/R technicians or other tradespeople. By supporting the industries it serves, DSG helps to promote a successful future for all of its business partners. More information can be found online at www.dsgfund.com.
“There is an impending labor shortage in many areas of the trade industries,” says DSG President Tom Rosendahl. “It’s time to dispel the myths and share the truth with our young people: these are interesting, well-paying jobs for bright people who want a career with serious growth potential.”
